Survey- Which Aprons/Pinafores for me?

This is an original Edwardian apron, come pinafore. It is in crisp white cotton. Plain design, just like a no nonsense nanny would wear when on duty with her little charges. Unfortunately it only came in size 6 (women were very slender then!) so I did not bid for it on Ebay as I'm a size 10. Let me know what you think and if there is enough interest in this sort of 'look' I will have it made up.

Now to the other spectrum, a plastic white apron with blue trim. Would come in handy when bathing and changing my babes and diaper lovers. Does this type of apron remind you of times past. Would it help you to regress seeing me, Nanny Alice, in this item.

I love this a British nurse uniform from the 1940s. It is pricy though so important I don't get it unless I have an opportunity to wear it often in my AB nursery. The blue dress underneath will bring out the colour of my eyes and the Peter Pan collar is very demure. Do you get a tingle looking at it, dear readers? Can you imagine me leaning over the cot, checking up on you with this on. Could you envisage me giving you a full medical with this nurse uniform on. Let me know.

Here are some example of full Victorian aprons decorated with rich lace. Buying something like this would be an impossibility but having it made may be just feasible. The image on the left and middle are one apron and the right hand image is of another. Very beautiful items. I could see myself in something like this. Could you?

Two more 'antique' inspired examples, from the turn of the last century. A bit more frilly and flouncy in comparison to the others.

And lastly, a rustic, nurturing 1950s apron. A bit more like the ones you saw in the 'beside the stove' advertisements when TV first came out in America. Could you imagine nanny all smiles, baking cookies for you in this.... Or did you have something else in mind...?

Or maybe Nanny Alice should go for something more, how should I say, eyecatching, or red cape and matronly hat 'severe', depending on how her mood takes her. Is that not why it is a good idea to communicate with me. Unless you prefer surprises!
